The video for my final 12 Tags of 2013 and I believe Tim will be posting the first tag of 12 tags of 2014 today!!!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
Ooops sorry! I hope that wasn't too loud for some of you ;-) tee hee!
Thank you for popping by X
This blog is a record of my creative journey. I love to share my passion for paper crafting so I design projects and then create tutorials and workshops to show you how to make them. Please feel free to wander around to check out all the things I share both here, in my ETSY shop and over on my You Tube channel. Thank you for popping by!
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave me a comment. I always love to read them and if you have a question for me I will reply. Thanks again, Helen x
PS have had stop Anonymous comments as I am getting a lot of spam. I am so sorry to any real commenters that this affects. Feel free to email me if you want to and I will get back to you that way instead x
I've just left you a comment on Youtube, Helen, to say this is quite the nicest one of the whole set - I absolutely love it, with the limited palette and the use of the gilding flakes, on the time theme which is one of my favourites too.
ReplyDeleteAs for gilding flakes, I keep mine in a Chinese takeaway box which makes them a lot easier to handle, and I also have a little coarse black sponge square for burnishing with, which takes care of the loose bits. I use these boxes for my embossing powders too, and use a plastic teaspoon to scoop them onto the project and the excess falls back into the box.
Thank you for such a kind and lovely comment on my blog, and for all your kind thoughts about Dad. He was so special and we were so close - and strangely enough I still feel incredibly close to him. He was a keen horologist all his life, and your tag reminded me of him!! Thank you so much.
A very happy new year to you, and I look forward to seeing your new projects in the coming year. I so enjoy your videos and tutorials, and the beautiful work that you do.
Hugs,
Shoshi x
I've just seen your second comment on my blog, Helen - thank you for that also! I am so glad you like my special work space. It is made even more special with the precious collection of objects that were Dad's, and I am now getting to work in earnest on the album about his life, which has been in abeyance for so many months as we dealt with the house moves. I am looking forward to an exciting and creative year ahead - and hope you feel the same! Being inspired with so many ideas and always being keen to learn new things keeps us fresh and young! This is definitely something I have learnt from Dad!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Shoshi x
