Hi my fellow desk hoppers! So glad you popped in today and not yesterday! Yesterday afternoon I was forced to do a wee spot of tidying. When I did that I put out a few things to do today - Ok to TRY to do today and so you would have something to look at of course!! A few things have been there a while now. Top right is Tim stuff waiting for me to get further on with the 101 course - I am still at Lesson 4! Next to them my tag pile for hanging up is growing as I want to display them somewhere else and I need to get a frame - Those two will definitely still be there or thereabouts next week.
Back left is a tool holder still waiting for a revamp but I am starting to use it anyway as you can see. In front of it is a pile of clips I want to do a project with (still in the planning stages in my head!) Front right is some cards I have designed for another project on my list - coming soon (fingers crossed by the end of next week). This week I finally made a layout with a Prima Paintables I had coloured in with Pro Markers ages and ages ago and here are two more all coloured in so I am going to have a go with these today. I really enjoyed colouring them in grown up style but they are tricky to use in a layout - I think the brown one is going to be my biggest challenge!
This is my first project of the day though. I bought these frames from the Range at the weekend and I want to put them either side of my bed. They are nice but I think I could titivate them up a bit! Oh and of course I really should put photos of my own family in them! I might be using this dotty ribbon I bought at a small florist in St Helens recently.
So that's me busy for the day. I did think I had better show you one more photo. A kind of here's one I made earlier.......
This was my desk yesterday pre tidy up. I feel so much better now I have confessed! I tried to make it a bit less scary with the romantic faded frame!
Thank you so much for popping by. I am looking forward to seeing what you are all up to again this week. If you wonder what this mad post is all about then follow this link to the lovely Julia's to the home of WOYWW.

Wow your desk must have taken some tidying up!!! :-) thanks for visiting me earlier. I made the flower using a Bigz die Flower, Daisies. I used a hat pin to crease down the centre of each petal and then dab bed all edges of petals using ink and drifoam. Thanks for visiting me earlier. Anne x #129
ReplyDeleteLOL - soft focus makes everything look better!!! Your desk was very 'impressive' before the tidy up. Well done for confessing, did you feel better afterwards :D
ReplyDeleteThanks for the birthday wishes - I've had a lovely day and spent the afternoon sorting my new beads out while watching Bradley Wiggins win gold!

Wow, you colored in those papers at the front bottom of your photo? That is very impressive if I do say so myself. I love how you soft-focused the messy photo to make it easier one the eye. If only I could do that to my vision. I'd probably enjoy my craft room all the more! The cards you have been working on look interesting.
ReplyDeleteI love those papers!! hopping around quickly waiting to go the scotland....happy woyww!

The cards are so pretty, you have lots of details there in those beautiful flowers.

ReplyDeleteThose Prima patterned papers are wonderful but so big! I couldn't put those on a card! Amazing before and after, you get a gold medal for clearing up!
