I told you......I wonder what it says about Julia and I that I found myself sitting quite happily shuffling the buttons into their groups! Probably that Julia has better things to do right?! I started out trying to work out what I wanted to do for a tag swap I have joined over at Following the Paper Trail. This one is in the French Country Chic category and I have to make 9 in total. I quickly went from gathering the elements for my tag design together to button sorting. Very soothing I found!
As you can see I am very soothed indeed. I wonder how long they will have to wait for their own storage or will they just be scooped up and put in the jar for the next time I need button therapy?
Also on my desk is a project I want to write a tutorial for. A cute way to store cling stamps and to use up those old video cases I still have lying around. So I am off to do the rounds and I already feel like I am popping in on pals. If you want to join in then follow the link to Julia's and find out what WOYWW is all about.
P.S. If you want to see what my Graphic 45 challenge was when I finished follow this link!
Nothing beats sorting buttons or beads when you have a crafting block - it's free therapy!
ReplyDeleteNo i just have all my buttons in one jar just like Julia.Couldnt do with sitting sorting through ,then having to find a place to put them all.just easier in one jar..lol
ReplyDeleteHave fab wednesday and creative week ahead hugs judex 67
Beautiful buttons there! Am also trying to sort out my stamps here - let's say it's an ongoing project:)
ReplyDeleteGood idea about the website you mentioned for emailing publications. Sadly, we polled our members and only about 6, yes 6. were willing to give up their paper magazine! We have a website and the mag is also there in electronic form, all pretty so you can turn the pages and everything but - they like paper! Bunch of Luddites!!

ReplyDeleteButtons and lace - two of my favorite things! :) Yours are lovely. Happy WOYWW 147 - Tammy #47
ReplyDeleteGreat tag and beautiful paper you use for it. And all these buttons. I still have a bag with these and I have to store them too - what a shame. Yours look wonderful, all small ones. The video box looks brilliant too. A good idea to store your stamps in it. Thanks for sharing and have a happy WOYWW. Bye, Franka
ReplyDeleteWonderful buttons - I keep mine in old sauce jars! Take care & enjoy this weeks snoop of WOYWW desks. Zo xx 75
ReplyDeleteHey....more buttons....lots more. They look like little piles of candy....
ReplyDeletebutton therapy, now that just made me smile. But evidently ( looking over shoulder ) you are much more organized than Julia, her buttons are all dumped into a big pile! Or you needed some therapy....lol waving hi from my balcony in the hills of North Carolina :)
ReplyDeleteHi Helen, you asked about the photo on my desk - unfortunately I can't take any credit. It was on a graze box and was so beautiful I couldn't throw it away! Laura x
ReplyDeleteI am thinking of sticking my phone in the grass and see what I can capture! I need to find a field with wild flowers rather than my lawn which is still tatty from the winter months! Helen X
DeleteYummy buttons. Lucky you!

Great collection of buttons something that I could not have on my desk at the moment for fear of what my dads cat would do to them. If he want the space he pushes it off the desk LOL
ReplyDeleteHappy crafting.
Eliza
I love the cling stamp storage idea, excellent use of video boxes and it means you can store several sheets together, fabulous idea. Gorgeously decorated too. Thanks for sharing x
