A Double Slider Card Tutorial with Graphic 45 Secret Garden Style

Hi there - if you are in the UK reading this hope you are enjoying some lovely Spring sunshine!  It was frosty this morning first thing but it has warmed up and it is very pleasant indeed.  All the dogs were walking their owners in the park this morning - the nice weather makes everyone happy and friendly!   Lots of good mornings - not that Comet notices he was head down and sniffing for England!  The crocus are up and the daffodils are on their way.

We have a couple of Daffodils already out and our snow drops are doing well this year too.  I have just come in from dead heading the Hydrangea and tidying the front garden so I am feeling very virtuous indeed!!!

Today I am sharing a video tutorial for this pretty card - at least I hope you think it is pretty!!!  Definitely a whole lot of shabby chic going on with the decoration of this one.  The tutorial is a bit longer than normal as I wanted to share with you how I worked out the dimensions for this double slider card so that you could perhaps try making a triple slider version if you wanted to!!!

The decoration takes time to explain too as you can see I really went all out shabby chic which was perfect for these tiny prints from the Graphic 45 Secret Garden Collection.  This design of card could be made with other pretty papers and you could even use Prima or Petalloo flowers rather than make them yourself to shorten production time.  I would say though I really enjoyed working on this - check out the video and see for yourself.

That is it from me for today - I am off to finish of a scrapbook layout and then I a plan for Secret Project Number 4!!!  I am thinking of making two versions one in a tropical garden style and one…….mmmm not sure yet but I know I am going to have a ton of Graphic 45 fun!!!

Have a great day and thank you for popping by!

    1. Thanks Ann - I really try hard to make my tutorials as easy to follow as I can which gets tricky sometimes!!! So I am really happy to have your great feedback. I am sure you don't need luck but I will send it anyway but I am sure you will make a great job of it. I would love to see the end result. Hugs Helen x

  3. Thanks Helen. I'm halfway through and have your YouTube playing as I go. Thought I had gone wrong at the start because your cutting list shows the white card at 11 3/4 not 11 1/2 but soon figured that one out.( measurements in the video are correct, it's just the list in your post

    1. ooops - Thank you for letting me know - I have corrected it. I am glad it didn't cause you too much difficulty. I am busy fussy cutting flowers to decorate the centre of a carriage clock I am making for my (not so secret) secret project ;-). Thanks again for letting me know x
