Snowman Snowing Tag! |
I decided to make a video whilst I was making this. I quite like making these 'fast forward' how to videos as they are quite fun for me to watch back - You see only I know how many times I stopped the video to go to look for something and how many times I had to cut my head out of shot as I leant forward to concentrate!!! .....and then when I think my video looks super organised and clutter free I have a chuckle to myself as I know the chaos that builds up around me as I work! Take a look at the video and you will see what I mean ;-)
As usual I do not have all the lovely goodies that Tim uses but that is what makes each and every one of our tags unique and I have loved that about this challenge......oh and of course the encouragement to shop for the odd must have new addition to my stash - Thank you Tim ;-)
So without further ado a quick how I did it video......
Hope you are more organised than me and are enjoying all the festive preparations. I am decorating my trees tonight - Baubles by OCD tree decorator - poor Callum - he has learned to humour me now ;-)
A fabulous tag, looks really wonderful, great choice of the colors.
ReplyDeleteThe colors you used look fantastic together and i absoultely love the snowman!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love the bright colors of your tag. It's so cheerful.
ReplyDeleteI adore your tag . I love all things snowmen . It is gorgeous , you have a unique style. Thanks for visiting and commenting on my blog :)and the video tutorial was fantastic too!
ReplyDeleteOh, this SO strikes a cord with me! I love your take on Tim's tag. It has been great all year to see how people adapt them to fit in with the things they have. I also share your pain with fitting everything in at this time of year. Like you the OCD tendencies go into overdrive with the tree so it's sitting there taunting me at the moment!!! What are we like. Hope you still get time to keep crafting. Thanks for dropping by, hugs Jenny x
ReplyDeleteHi Jenny - hope your tree is looking perfect!!!! Mine is still to find its way out of the garden centre as I decided my kitchen really needed a lick of paint - today is the day!!!!! Don't mess with my Baubles ;-)
DeleteLove your tag Helen!! Your colour choices are so bright and cheerful! I watched your video and am definitely going to have to try a shaker tag...thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the lovely comment on my blog for the pointsettia tags!
Huggzz...
Sheree
Let me know how you get on Sheree. I am sure that your shaker tags will be fab - don't forget to use glass glitter so it doesn't stick to the acetate or you will have a blizzard on your hands ;-) Thank you for joining me on my blog. Merry Christmas x
DeleteI Helen, love your tag and especially how you made it longer. I have at last scrapped your Olympic photos and they will be on my WOYWW desk tomorrow (from midnight).
ReplyDeleteThanks again BJ
Just a lovely tag! I love that you made it a shaker! I really enjoyed watching your video! i have not seen the border stamps and now, I want them! I really love the stamping you did on the ribbon. Can't wait to try that! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteThanks Winnie I am just about to try to catch up with my final 2 tags November and the extra one which I think I will make for the New Year - I am hoping there is more fun to come from Tim in the New year as this has been a great project for learning new techniques and revisiting old ones. Happy New Year to you x
DeleteI left a comment on your You Tube video channel, but I also wanted to tell you here how much I love this tag. The shaker card is a brilliant idea. What fun!
ReplyDeleteThank you Pat. I have had such fun making these tags - I managed to finish the full set of 12 tonight - talk about cutting it fine!! Have you seen that Tim is doing it all over again for 2013. Wishing you and your family a Happy New Year!
